Airing on CBS instead of FOX, the NFL singleheader window had a double-digit decline in Week 7.
The Week 7 NFL singleheader window drew a 10.6 overnight rating on CBS, down 10% from last year on FOX (11.8) and down 17% from 2012 on FOX (12.8). The 10.6 is tied as the second-lowest of the season for the NFL singleheader, ahead of only Week 4 (8.2).
So far this season, CBS has aired the four lowest rated singleheader telecasts in the metered markets. Each singleheader on FOX has topped a 12.0 overnight, while the best CBS could do was an 11.2 in Week 1.
Regardless of network, the singleheader window has been a weaker draw this season. Five of the seven telecasts have had declines in overnight ratings, and a sixth merely pulled even with last year.
