The Magnolia State has delivered the top college football audience two weeks in a row.
Last Saturday’s Auburn/Mississippi State game drew a 3.8 final rating and 6.0 million viewers on CBS, up 9% in ratings and 7% in viewership from Georgia/Tennessee last year (3.5, 5.6M) and the top college football game of the week on any network.
This marks the second straight week that a Mississippi team has played in the week’s top game. Alabama/Mississippi on CBS the previous week topped the charts with a 3.7 and 5.9 million.
Overall, the SEC on CBS has been the top draw in four of the past five weeks.
