After a string of double-digit declines, Week 13 of the NFL season produced a pair of increases on NBC.
The Week 13 Broncos/Chiefs Sunday Night Football game drew a 12.5 final rating and 21.1 million viewers on NBC, up 16% in ratings and 19% in viewership from Giants/Washington last year (10.8, 17.7M) and up 1% and 3%, respectively, from Eagles/Cowboys in 2012 (12.4, 20.4M).
The Broncos’ win scored the largest year-over-year increase in ratings and viewership on NBC this season.
On Thursday, 49ers/Seahawks drew an 11.4 and 22.9 million — up 4% in ratings and 8% in viewership from Steelers/Ravens last year (11.0, 21.1M), up 13% and 19%, respectively, from Patriots/Jets in 2012 (10.1, 19.2M), and the most-watched Thanksgiving night NFL game on record (dates back to 2006).
Both games drew a 7.4 rating among adults 18-49, up 19% on Sunday and 7% on Thursday.
