Viewership increased by double-digits for the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony drew approximately 1.3 million viewers across ESPN and NFL Network last Saturday night, up 18% from last year (1.1M) and up 10% from 2013 (1.2M).
ESPN alone had a 0.6 final rating and 839,000 viewers, up a tick in ratings and 17% in viewership from last year on ESPN2 (0.5, 718K), and flat and up 20%, respectively, from 2013 (0.5, 698K). NFL Network chipped in a 0.3 and 459,000, flat in ratings and up 20% in viewership from last year (0.3, 383K), and flat and up 4%, respectively, from 2013 (0.3, 477K).
Saturday’s telecast easily topped Hall of Fame inductions in the other sports. The Baseball Hall of Fame ceremony drew a 0.3 and 448,000 on MLB Network last month, and the last year’s Basketball Hall of Fame ceremony had a mere 0.0 and 72,000 on NBA TV.
