Gus Johnson to Call Milwaukee Bucks Games
- Fox Sports broadcaster Gus Johnson will call select Milwaukee Bucks games for Fox Sports Midwest this season, Sports Illustrated reported Monday. Johnson, who previously called Knicks games on MSG Network and the radio from 1998-2010, will schedule his 20-game slate around his national gigs. (SI.com)
Qerim Named Full Time First Take Host
- ESPN has named Molly Qerim a contributor to Mike and Mike in the Morning and the permanent moderator of the ESPN2 talk show First Take. Qerim joined ESPN from NFL Network in June, moderating First Take on an interim basis. ESPN originally planned to have her serve as a co-host of Mike and Mike, according to Sports Business Journal, but that fell through when the network scrapped plans to move the show to New York City. Chances “Good” Sager Back For Start of Season
- Doctors have told Turner Sports reporter Craig Sager that chances are “good” he will be back on TNT’s NBA coverage once the season begins next month.
