MLB on FOX Returns With Increase in Overnights
- Regional Major League Baseball coverage drew a 1.5 overnight rating on FOX Saturday afternoon, up 36% from last year (1.1) but down 17% from 2013 (1.8). The telecast featured Blue Jays/Yankees in most markets. The 1.5 overnight is tied for fifth out of the eight MLB telecasts on FOX this season.
Uptick For Premier League on NBC
- The Manchester United/Liverpool English Premier League match drew a 0.8 overnight rating on NBC Saturday afternoon, up a tick from West Ham/Liverpool last year (0.7) and the second-highest overnight of the season on any network. Only Chelsea/Swansea City on NBC opening weekend drew a higher mark (0.9).
NASCAR Xfinity Series Low Again on NBCSN
- NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Richmond drew a 0.7 overnight rating on NBCSN Friday night, down a tick from last year on ESPN2 (0.8) and down 30% from 2013 on ESPN (1.0). The 0.7 is tied as the third-lowest for an Xfinity Series race this season, ahead of only Richmond and Iowa (0.6 for both).
