Compared to FOX last year, overnight ratings dipped for the NFL singleheader on CBS.
The Week 2 NFL singleheader window drew a 10.8 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, down 12% from coverage featuring Seahawks/Chargers last year (12.3) and down 16% from coverage featuring Washington/Packers in 2013 (12.8). Those telecasts aired on FOX.
The telecast was just the second of the season on any network to have a decline in overnights (12 telecasts). The other also aired on CBS — the Week 1 national window (-16%).
Compared to the first singleheader window on CBS last season, which took place in Week 1, the 10.8 overnight marks a 4% decline from an 11.2.
