First Round of WNBA Playoffs Up
- The first round of the WNBA Playoffs averaged a 0.2 rating and 288,000 viewers on ESPN and ESPN2, flat in ratings and up 10% in viewership from last year on ESPN2 alone (0.2, 262K). Including the opening games of the conference finals, the top telecasts thus far were Game 2 of the Liberty/Mystics series (512K) and Game 2 of Lynx/Sparks (356K), both of which aired on ESPN Sunday afternoon. Xfinity Series Down Again
- NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Chicago drew 1.1 million viewers on NBCSN Saturday afternoon, down 10% from last year (1.2M) and down 14% from 2013 (1.3M), both on ESPN2. The race ranks as the seventh-least watched of the season on any network (26 telecasts). (via ShowBuzz Daily)
PBC Low Again on FS1
- The latest edition of the Premier Boxing Champions series on Fox Sports 1 drew 172,000 viewers, up 13% from the previous week (152K) but the second-smallest PBC audience on any network (26 telecasts).
