ESPN O.J. Doc Premiering on ABC in June
- ESPN announced Tuesday that its five-part, ten-hour 30 For 30 on the O.J. Simpson murder case, titled O.J.: Made in America, will debut on ABC in primetime Saturday, June 11. The remaining four episodes will air on ESPN June 14, 15, 17 and 18, preceded each night by an encore of the previous episode. In total, ESPN will air four hours of O.J. New One Shining Moment Rendition Coming
- Turner Sports will debut a new version on the One Shining Moment montage following Monday’s NCAA men’s basketball championship on TBS, it was announced in a conference call Tuesday. There was no immediate word on who would perform the annual college basketball anthem. Except for 2010, the Luther Vandross version of the song has aired after the title game each year. (ESPN.com)
ESPN to Air Texas Western Win
- ESPN will broadcast a special presentation of the 1966 Texas Western/Kentucky NCAA men’s basketball championship game on Wednesday night, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the former’s historic win. Coverage will include studio segments featuring John Saunders, Jay Bilas and Michael Wilbon. (ESPN Media Zone)
