ESPN Extends Vitale
- ESPN announced Thursday that it has added an extra year onto its contract with college basketball analyst Dick Vitale. This is the second year that ESPN has added onto the contract, which was initially announced in 2014, taking Vitale up to his 40th year with the company in 2018-19. (ESPN Media Zone)
Big Lead Founder Joins FS1 Show
- The Big Lead founder Jason McIntyre has been named a contributor to the new Fox Sports 1 series Speak For Yourself — a daily debate show co-hosted by Jason Whitlock and Colin Cowherd. McIntyre will also host a post-show podcast. (Fox Sports)
NBC Adds Slew of First Time Olympic Reporters
- NBC Sports announced Wednesday that it has added NBC News correspondents Craig Melvin, Anne Thompson, Gadi Schwartz, and Jill Martin, NBC NASCAR contributor Rutledge Wood and Comcast SportsNet New England anchor Dalen Cuff to its roster of Olympic reporters.
