- Saturday’s Brazil/Germany Olympic men’s soccer final scored 1.2 million viewers on Telemundo, down 67% from the 2012 Mexico/Brazil final, which was the most-watched Olympic telecast in the history of the network (3.6M). PPD Bristol Viewership Decent Enough on CNBC
- Postponed a day due to rain, NASCAR Sprint Cup racing from Bristol earned a 1.5 final rating and 2.7 million viewers on CNBC Sunday afternoon. Last year’s race had a 2.1 and 3.6 million run as scheduled on a Saturday night. Viewership easily topped the season’s previous postponed races — both at Pocono — which earned 1.4 and 1.7 million on Monday afternoons. - Live NHRA racing from Minnesota earned a 0.3 final rating and 452,000 viewers on Fox Sports 1 Sunday afternoon, down a tick in ratings and 24% in viewership from last year (0.4, 591K) and down 40% and 43%, respectively, from 2014 (0.5, 798K), both of which aired tape delayed on ESPN2.
