Kruk Done at ESPN
- ESPN has parted ways with MLB analyst John Kruk, the network confirmed to The Big Lead Monday. Kruk had been with ESPN since 2004 and was part of its lead MLB broadcast team from 2013-15. His role this past season was limited primarily to the studio. (The Big Lead 10/3)
ESPN Re-Signs Hubie Brown
- ESPN NBA analyst Hubie Brown has reached a multi-year extension with the network, it was announced Monday. Brown, who has been with ESPN since 2004, will continue to call games on ABC with new partner Mark Jones and is also expected to continue calling the NBA Finals for ESPN Radio. ESPN also made official Monday that Doug Collins and Doris Burke will shift primarily to game analysis this year. (ESPN Media Zone 10/3)
SportsCenter Anchor Gets Extension
- ESPN announced Monday that it has reached a contract extension with SportsCenter anchor Jade McCarthy. McCarthy, who also appears on ESPN NFL coverage, is in her fourth year with ESPN after having previously worked for NESN. (ESPN Front Row 10/3)
