A two-week-old pay-per-view encore delivered some of the best-ever UFC numbers on FOX.
An encore presentation of UFC 206 scored a 2.6 final rating and 4.7 million viewers on FOX Saturday night, marking the highest rated UFC telecast on FOX since January 2012 (2.6) and the most-watched since the debut telecast in November 2011 (5.7M).
The telecast topped the previous week’s UFC on FOX 22 by 44% in ratings (from 1.8 to 2.6) and 49% in viewership (from 3.2M to 4.7M). Keep in mind UFC on FOX 22 was the most-watched live card on the network in more than three years.
Overall, it was the highest rated and most-watched fight telecast on an over-the-air network since August — when Premier Boxing Champions had a 3.1 and 4.8 million on NBC directly after the Olympic men’s basketball final.
