Ortiz Returning to MLB on FOX; Hernandez Out
Former Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz has joined Fox Sports as a full-time MLB analyst. Ortiz, who previously served as a guest analyst on FOX last season and in 2014, will make his debut on next month’s MLB All-Star Game.
Another member of last year’s Fox postseason studio will not be returning. SNY analyst Keith Hernandez told the New York Post Monday that he has not been asked back. Hernandez replaced Pete Rose on the Fox team last year. [Fox Sports; NYP 6.25]

Gordon Close to Fox Extension
Fox Sports and NASCAR analyst Jeff Gordon are close to a contract extension, Sports Business Daily reported Monday. Gordon’s contract expires at the end of the year. Fox plans to keep its NASCAR broadcast booth — Gordon, Darryl Waltrip and play-by-play voice Mike Joy — intact. [SBD 6.25]
CBS to Stream NFL on Mobile Devices
CBS has reached a contract extension with the NFL to continue streaming games on its CBS All-Access app, the network announced Monday. Under the new deal, CBS will be able to stream those games to mobile devices for the first time. CBS joins NBC and ESPN in expanding streaming coverage to mobile, moves that became possible after Verizon relinquished mobile exclusivity in its new NFL deal last year. [CBS PR 6.25]
