Tiger, Phil, Brady, Manning to play in “The Match” next month
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will play each other in another edition of “The Match” — their made-for-TV head-to-head that aired last Thanksgiving weekend — sometime next month. In a twist, the rivals will each pair with an NFL star, Woods with Peyton Manning and Mickelson with Tom Brady, in two-on-two competition. Unlike the previous edition, the reprise will air on TNT instead of pay-per-view and proceeds would go to charity, rather than a multi-million dollar pot for the winner.
No date or location has been announced for the event, though Florida and late May were mentioned in some reports. [Golf.com 4.22]
