NBC saw double-digit increases for Stanley Cup Playoff coverage over the weekend.
Flyers/Capitals Game 5 and Red Wings/Predators Game 6 averaged a combined a 1.3 overnight rating on NBC, up 30% from the 1.0 the network averaged for games on the comparable weekend last year.
Flyers/Capitals drew a 1.2 overnight, up 33% from a 0.9 for Flames/Red Wings Game 5 last year.
Meanwhile, Red Wings/Predators drew a 1.3, up 18% from a 1.1 for Devils/Lightning Game 6 last year. The 1.3 overnight is the second-highest of the season for the NHL on NBC, behind only the 2.6 for the Winter Classic in January.
NHL telecasts were the second and third most watched sporting events on NBC for the weekend. The most watched program was the National Heads Up Poker Challenge, which drew a 1.4 on Sunday afternoon.
