The tenth straight season of NBA playoff coverage on ABC will begin with one of the highest-profile first round series in recent memory.
Game 1 of the Heat/Knicks NBA first round playoff series will air on Saturday at 3:30 PM ET on ABC, the first of nine pre-NBA Finals telecasts on ABC during the postseason.
Other first round telecasts on the network include Nuggets/Lakers Game 1 Sunday afternoon, Game 4 of both Bulls/Sixers and Heat/Knicks on May 1, and then any seventh and deciding games of Magic/Pacers, Knicks/Heat, Spurs/Jazz or Clippers/Grizzlies on May 8.
The postseason will tip off Saturday with Sixers/Bulls Game 1 on TNT (1 PM ET), followed by the previously mentioned Knicks/Heat Game 1 on ABC and a Magic/Pacers and Mavericks/Thunder doubleheader on ESPN in primetime.
On Sunday, ESPN will lead off action with Jazz/Spurs Game 1 (1 PM ET), followed by Nuggets/Lakers on ABC and a primetime Celtics/Hawks and Clippers/Grizzlies doubleheader on TNT.
NBA TV begins its playoff schedule on Monday with Magic/Pacers Game 2. Other NBA TV games include Celtics/Hawks Game 2 Tuesday night and Magic/Pacers Game 3 on Wednesday.
