With two television networks televising the race, ratings and viewership increased for the Coke Zero 400.
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Coke Zero 400 from Daytona drew a combined 3.8 U.S. rating and 6.184 million viewers on TNT and TruTV Saturday night, up 12% in ratings and 3% in viewership from last year’s race on TNT alone (3.4, 6.029M), and up 6% and 1%, respectively, from 2010 (3.6, 6.127M).
This marks the highest rated (tie) edition of the Coke Zero 400 since 2006 (5.1), and the most-viewed since 2008 (6.390M).
Overall, this marks the most-viewed NASCAR race on Turner Sports since the aforementioned 2008 Daytona race.
