CBS had a solid increase in overnight ratings for the NFL singleheader.
The Week 6 NFL singleheader window, which included Colts/Jets, earned an 11.5 overnight rating on CBS Sunday — up 16% from last year (9.9), but down 20% from 2010 (14.3).
The 11.5 overnight tied as the lowest of the day for NFL coverage on any network, matching the early doubleheader window on FOX.
So far this season, the three singleheader windows on CBS have drawn overnights of 10.4 (Week 1), 10.4 (Week 4) and 11.5 (Week 6). By comparison, FOX has earned overnights of 13.3 (Week 2), 12.2 (Week 3) and 12.5 (Week 5) for singleheader coverage.
