- Mark Cuban: The Dallas Mavericks owner has been charged with insider trading by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Cuban allegedly “[sold] all of his stock from Mamma.com after receiving the confidential information from the company” in the summer of 2004, avoiding $750,000 in losses as a result. Cuban has denied the allegations, and could face fines if found guilty.
- Bill Walton: The ESPN NBA analyst will make his season debut on NBA Shootaround Friday, November 28, almost a month into the season. Walton, who missed most of last year with a back injury, has not yet appeared on ESPN’s NBA studio coverage this season.
- John Lynch: Mere days after retiring from the league, the former NFL safety is headed to the broadcast booth. Lynch will be the color commentator aside play-by-play man Chris Rose for Sunday’s Vikings/Jaguars game on FOX.
