The Blackhawks have surged ahead of the Bulls in Chicago TV ratings, but with one major caveat.
Through four games, Blackhawks’ first round series against the Flames has averaged a 4.31 rating on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, equaling approximately 150,544 Chicago TV households.
Meanwhile, the first three games between the Bulls and Celtics averaged a 3.59 rating on CSN Chicago, equaling 125,395 households.
One highly important point to keep in mind: while all four Blackhawks/Flames games have aired exclusively on CSN Chicago, the three Bulls/Celtics games have also been available on ESPN and TNT.
