UFC on FOX Down Slightly From Last Year
- The latest edition of the UFC on FOX drew a 1.6 final rating and 2.8 million viewers last Saturday night, down a tick in ratings and 2% in viewership from last year’s December telecast (1.7, 2.8M) and down 36% and 37%, respectively, from December 2012 (2.5, 4.4M). Compared to the most recent edition of the UFC on FOX in July, ratings and viewership increased by a tick and 12%, respectively. CBS Scores Season’s Top CBB Audience For UNC/UK
- Last Saturday’s North Carolina/Kentucky college basketball game drew a 1.8 final rating and 2.8 million viewers on CBS, up 29% in ratings and 35% in viewership from Arizona/Michigan last year (1.4, 2.1M), and the season’s most-watched game on any network. The previous high was 2.7 million for Kansas/Kentucky on ESPN last month. Kentucky and North Carolina also played each other on the comparable day last year, scoring a 1.7 and 2.7 million on ESPN. TNT Scores Increase For Thunder/Warriors
- The Thunder/Warriors NBA regular season game drew 2.0 million viewers on TNT Thursday night, up 31% from Spurs/Warriors last year (1.5M) and up 2% from Heat/Mavericks in 2012 (2.0M). The Warriors’ high-scoring win ranks as just the fourth non-Cavaliers telecast of the season to have a year-over-year increase. Knicks/Bulls earlier in the day drew 1.7 million, down 1% from Bulls/Thunder last year (1.8M) but up 4% from Thunder/T-Wolves in 2012 (1.7M). (via TV By the Numbers)
