Overnights Up Big For Second Race of IndyCar Detroit Doubleheader
- The second race of the IndyCar Series Detroit doubleheader earned a 1.0 overnight rating on ABC Sunday afternoon, up 43% from last year (0.7) and up 25% from 2013 (0.8). - NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Dover earned a 1.2 overnight rating on FOX Saturday afternoon, up 20% from last year (1.0) and up a tick from 2013 (1.1), both on ESPN. Despite the increase, the 1.2 overnight is the lowest of the season for Xfinity Series racing on FOX, falling below the previous mark set the previous week at Charlotte (1.3).
