Ratings were up early and down late for Sunday’s NFL doubleheader on CBS.
Sunday’s national NFL window, featuring Chargers/Giants, drew a 14.0 overnight rating on CBS — down 17% from a 16.8 for Cowboys/Giants on FOX during Week 9 last year, and down 24% from an 18.3 for Vikings/Packers on FOX last week.
The 14.0 overnight is the lowest for the NFL national window since Week 3, when coverage featuring Steelers/Bengals drew a 12.6.
Earlier in the day, regional action featuring Dolphins/Patriots drew an 11.1 overnight, up 14% from a 9.7 for comparable coverage on FOX last year, but down 5% from an 11.7 for coverage featuring Giants/Eagles last week.
Overall, Sunday’s NFL doubleheader on CBS was down 5% from last year’s comparable doubleheader.
