CBS had a double-digit rise in viewership for NFL action featuring Jets/Patriots.
Sunday’s NFL national window, featuring the Patriots’ win over the Jets, drew 21.7 million viewers on CBS — up 10% from 19.7 million during Week 11 last year (mostly Chargers/Steelers, CBS), but down 19% from 26.7 million last week (mostly Cowboys/Packers, FOX).
Jets/Patriots was the most-viewed NFL telecast of Week 11. Additionally, the telecast was the most-viewed NFL telecast on CBS since coverage featuring Titans/Patriots in Week 6 (23.9 mil).
The national window, which also featured Broncos/Chargers and Bengals/Raiders, accounted for 4 of the 8 highest local NFL ratings during the week — including a 42.1/63 in Cincinnati, a 34.7/59 in Boston, a 32.9/59 in San Diego and a 31.5/59 in Denver.
