CBS has a modest decline in overnights for the NFL singleheader.
The Week 11 NFL singleheader window drew an 11.0 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, down 6% from last year (11.7), but up 6% from 2013 (10.4) and the network’s second-highest overnight for the window this season (five telecasts).
Only the Week 7 singleheader had a better overnight on CBS (12.2). Keep in mind that all six singleheader telecasts on FOX have had a higher overnight, ranging from an 11.3 to a 13.6.
CBS has now had declines for half of its 18 Sunday windows this season, slightly better than FOX (53%) but behind ESPN (45%) and NBC (17%). With Thursday Night Football simulcasts included, the network has seen declines for 12 of its 25 telecasts, 48%.
