Coverage of Serena Williams‘ win in the Women’s Final drew a 0.5 U.S. rating (0.6 cable) and 765,000 viewers on ESPN2 early Saturday morning, up 25% and 29%, respectively, from Williams/Safina last year (0.4 U.S., 0.5 cable, 594,000 viewers).
Meanwhile, Roger Federer‘s win in the Men’s Final drew a 0.6 U.S. rating (0.7 cable) and 817,000 viewers on Sunday morning, down 25% and 17%, respectively, from Nadal/Federer last year (0.8 U.S., 0.9 cable, 982,000 viewers).
Both matches aired at 3:30 AM ET.
