Opposite the Winter Olympics, and with a less-than-scintillating Slam Dunk Contest, ratings and viewership dropped by double-digits for NBA All-Star Saturday Night.
TNT drew a 3.1 U.S. rating and 5.5 million viewers for coverage of NBA All-Star Saturday Night, down 20% in ratings and 17% in viewers from last year (3.9, 6.6 mil), but flat in ratings and up 6% in viewers from 2008 (3.1, 5.2 mil).
The last time NBA All-Star Saturday Night aired opposite the Olympics, the event drew a 2.9.
Despite the decline, this marks the second-most viewed All-Star Saturday Night ever, behind only last year.
Overall, the last four NBA All-Star Saturday Nights have been the four most-viewed in the history of the event.
