NBC continues to perform well with coverage of the ongoing Winter Olympics.
Thursday’s coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics drew a 16.6 overnight rating on NBC, up 20% from the comparable night of the 2006 Turin Olympics (13.8), though down 14% from Wednesday night’s coverage (19.3).
For the sixth time in seven nights, NBC won the night in primetime. The network topped second-place CBS by 165% in viewers (26.3 mil to 9.6 mil) and beat ABC and CBS by 184% among adults 18-49 (7.1/19 to 2.5/7).
