Penguins/Rangers Slips on NBC
- Sunday’s Penguins/Rangers NHL regular season game scored a 0.9 overnight rating on NBC, up a tick from Red Wings/Penguins last year (0.8) and even with Flyers/Penguins in 2014. The 0.9 is tied as the second-lowest of the season on NBC (nine telecasts), matching Flyers/Capitals on Super Bowl Sunday and ahead of Penguins/Sabres on Hockey Day in America (0.8).
Arsenal/Tottenham Encore Top EPL Telecast of Weekend
- NBC earned a 0.5 overnight rating for an encore presentation of the March 5 Arsenal/Tottenham English Premier League match Saturday afternoon, topping all four of the weekend’s live matches. NBC was originally scheduled to air Arsenal/West Brom, but that match was postponed to accommodate the FA Cup.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Down Again at Phoenix
- NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Phoenix drew a 1.2 overnight rating on FOX Saturday afternoon, down 20% from both last year on FOX and 2014 on ABC (1.5). Overnights have been flat or down for all four Xfinity Series races this season.
