Months after resigning from Fox Sports, Donovan McNabb has a new, albeit one-time, gig.
McNabb will serve as the sideline reporter for TruTV’s Syracuse-tailored Final Four coverage on Saturday, his first national assignment since leaving Fox Sports last year. It is also his first assignment since he served 18 days in jail in December for a June 2015 DUI arrest.
He will be joined on the Syracuse broadcast team by play-by-play voice Tom Werme and former Orange player Roosevelt Bouie.
While McNabb is the biggest name working Turner Sports’ annual “Team Stream” coverage, there are a few other familiar faces — including former Dallas Mavericks F and Sooners alum Eduardo Najera (Oklahoma on TNT), journeyman NBA C and Tar Heels alum Brendan Haywood (North Carolina on TNT) and former NFL WR and Wildcats alum Brian Finneran (Villanova on TruTV).
