Tirico to Make Horse Racing Debut
- NBC Sports anchor Mike Tirico will host Breeders Cup coverage on the NBC broadcast network Saturday night, the first horse racing assignment in his career. The Breeders Cup is the sixth NBC property Tirico has worked since joining the network in July, along with the Olympics, NFL, Notre Dame football, British Open and Ryder Cup. Turner’s Ledlow Victim of Armed Robbery
- NBA TV and Turner Sports NBA broadcaster Kristen Ledlow had her car and other items stolen at gunpoint Saturday by a group of men who approached her as she arrived at her home in Atlanta. The men “knew who I was, where I lived, and were waiting for me when I got home,” she said on her social media accounts Sunday. Sager to Be Honored on NBA Opening Night
- Turner Sports reporter Craig Sager, who has been battling leukemia for two and a half years, will be honored on Tuesday’s NBA Opening Night with custom made shoes and t-shirts that will be auctioned off or sold to benefit the SagerStrong Foundation. The shoes, a custom edition of the Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, were designed by Sager to resemble his colorful sideline attire. (Turner Sports)
