FOX: Sunday’s NFL national window, featuring Vikings/Patriots, earned a 17.0 overnight rating on FOX, down 7% from last year, but up 9% from 2008. Earlier in the day, regional action drew a 10.4 overnight, down 11% from last year, and down 13% from ’08.
NBC: The Saints’ Sunday night win over the Steelers game drew an 11.8 overnight on NBC, topping Game 4 of the World Series on FOX (10.4) head-to-head.
Saturday’s Tulsa/Notre Dame game earned a 1.5 overnight on NBC, even with the network’s sixth Notre Dame telecast last year, but up a tick from the sixth game in ’08.
CBS: The Week 8 NFL singleheader on CBS drew a 9.5 overnight, down 5% from last year, up 9% from ’08, and the lowest overnight of the season for the singleheader window.
Florida’s win over Georgia drew a 3.5 overnight on CBS Saturday afternoon, down from the past two matchups between the teams (4.8 last year, 4.4 in 2008).
ABC: Saturday Night Football, featuring Oregon/USC, drew a 5.3 overnight rating on ABC — up 15% from last year, down 26% from 2008, and a season-high for college football on ABC. Earlier in the day, additional regional action drew a 3.3 overnight, down 6% from last year and down 37% from ’08.
