Jason Whitlock is out at Fox Sports; Josina Anderson is out at ESPN; Adam Amin is adding another high-profile gig; ESPN’s boxing announcers will work the upcoming Top Rank cards remotely.
Whitlock done at Fox
Fox Sports has parted ways with FS1 Speak For Yourself co-host Jason Whitlock, the company confirmed to the New York Post Monday. He made his final appearance on Friday. Whitlock’s departure was first reported by Outkick the Coverage.
Whitlock was in his second stint with Fox, having rejoined the company in 2015 after a previous stint from 2007-13. In between, he had a brief stop at ESPN, which hired him to run a new site that eventually became The Undefeated. [NYP 6.1, OTC 6.1]

Amin adds Bulls gig
Former ESPN play-by-play voice Adam Amin, who is en route to Fox Sports, was officially named the new voice of Chicago Bulls games on NBC Sports Chicago Monday. The New York Post first reported the news Sunday. Amin, who has previously called Bulls games and serves as the preseason voice of the NFL Colts, would replace the retiring Neil Funk. Top Rank announcers to work remotely
ESPN boxing play-by-play voice Joe Tessitore will call this month’s scheduled Top Rank Boxing cards remotely from ESPN’s Bristol, Conn. studios, it was announced Monday. Tessitore will be joined by analysts Andre Ward, Tim Bradley and Mark Kreigel, each of whom will be appearing from their respective homes, with only reporter Bernardo Osuna on site in Las Vegas.
The Top Rank broadcasts will be Tessitore’s first ESPN assignments since being dropped from Monday Night Football last month.
ESPN officially announced Monday that Top Rank will return June 9 with multiple cards per week through the end of June. [ESPN PR 6.1]
