It seems Game 6 has drawn pretty big numbers!
In the 11.45 PM to Midnight time slot almost one on three TVs set on were watching WS!
Even local numbers seems to be astonishing!

INCREDIBLE SERIES! I think now we can say it, this World Series is going to become a pure Classic!
Someone can say that last night’s Game has not been aesthetically great, because of some unbelievable errors in the first innings…but it’s been so tense, so thrilling and St. Louis has shown a big, big heart!
I’m curious about how last night’s Game has done in terms of TV ratings. I think (and I hope!) something in the 11.0s, which would be a very good number, similar to 2002’s.

AND FINALLY MLB CAN ENJOY A GAME 7!!!
The lead-in for Game 7 has been exceptional, I think there’s some buzz around. Still, it’s a pity it will air on a Friday night. It will cost, I think, at least a 10% (Paulsen will correct me if I’m wrong), maybe more having some strong competition from “Chuck” and “Grimm” premieres. But a tight Game could still draw compelling numbers!

I post my guesses on final HH ratings:
– Game 6: 11.5
– Game 7: 14.3

I get that Friday is a bad day for ratings. But even for a (possible) World Series Game 7? Wouldnt they even be good enough to give the Series a boost at the end?

  You bet. If there is a Game 7 Friday, it will do a good number, just not nearly what it would’ve done if it was played on a Thursday. I think an average audience approaching 20 million could still happen, depending on how the game plays out (and what kind of lead-in they get from Game 6…see 1975, 1986, 1991, etc). If it’s tight late, and it’s still relatively early in the east, they got a shot at a good rating.
