CBS drew strong ratings for NFL coverage during Week 4.
Sunday’s NFL singleheader on CBS, featuring Ravens/Patriots, drew a 10.1 rating and 16.6 million viewers — up 49% and 52%, respectively, from a 6.8 and 10.9 million for comparable coverage during Week 4 last year.
This is the second straight week of strong ratings for the NFL singleheader. The Week 3 singleheader on FOX drew an 11.9 and 19.3 million viewers.
The 16.6 million viewers is the third-most for an NFL telecast on CBS this season, behind only two late national games — Steelers/Bears in Week 2 (23.8 mil) and Steelers/Bengals in Week 3 (18.2 mil).
So far this season, CBS is averaging a 9.7 rating and 15.8 million viewers for NFL coverage, down 9% in ratings from a 10.6 through the same point last year.
