An uncompetitive game dragged Monday Night Football down to its second-lowest numbers of the season.
The Giants’ blowout win over Washington drew a 7.3/12 U.S. rating and 11.3 million viewers on ESPN Monday night, making the game the second-lowest rated and second-least viewed Monday Night Football telecast of the season.
Giants/Washington was up 15% in viewership compared to Browns/Eagles in Week 15 last year (ratings for that game were not available).
Compared to 49ers/Cardinals last week, Monday’s telecast was down 19% and 13%, respectively, from a 9.0 and 14.4 million viewers.
Entering next Monday’s season finale, ESPN is averaging an 8.9 U.S. rating and 14.2 million viewers for Monday Night Football.
