For the second straight year, the Commander in Chief will make an appearance during the Super Bowl pregame.
U.S. President Barack Obama will be interviewed by CBS News anchor Katie Couric during Sunday’s The Super Bowl Today pregame show.
This is the second straight year Obama has been interviewed during the Super Bowl pregame. Last year, he was interviewed by Today Show co-host Matt Lauer on NBC’s pregame.
Obama is not the first U.S. President to seek airtime during the Super Bowl pregame. In 2004, CBS’ Jim Nantz interviewed Fmr. President George W. Bush during the pregame for Super Bowl XXXVIII.
