The major cable news networks will cover Tiger Woods‘ press conference on Monday.
CNN, Fox News, Fox Business, MSNBC and CNBC will cover Woods’ press conference from Augusta National Golf Club on Monday, the first time the embattled golfer has answered questions from a gathering of reporters.
Woods gave one-on-one interviews to ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi and The Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman last month. In February, Woods made a televised public apology where he did not answer questions from reporters.
In addition to the cable news networks, ESPNEWS will cover the press conference. ESPN and ESPN2 will be otherwise occupied with coverage of Major League Baseball games.
Broadcast networks CBS and NBC did not plan to air coverage of the press conference. It was not clear whether ABC and FOX planned to air any coverage. All four of the major broadcast networks carried Woods’ public apology in February.
