TNT will begin its season by sending its highly popular NBA studio show on the road.
The TNT NBA studio team of Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith will be on site from TD Garden for the October 26 Heat/Celtics game, marking the first time the network’s studio show has taken place from the site of a regular season game since 2006.
In March, Johnson, Barkley and Smith called a Heat/Bulls game from Chicago, but the network’s studio show (which featured NBA TV’s Matt Winer, Chris Webber and Kevin McHale) still took place from Turner’s Atlanta studios.
The TNT studio team will also travel to Quicken Loans Arena on December 2 for Heat/Cavaliers, LeBron James‘ first game in Cleveland since he departed the team earlier this year.
TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley has been notoriously critical of James during the offseason.
