Regional NFL action featuring Packers/Jets earned an 8.2 final rating and 13.127 million viewers on FOX last Sunday, down 16% in ratings and 17% in viewership from last year (NYG/PHI*: 9.7, 15.799 mil), and down 7% and 5%, respectively, from 2008 (TB/DAL*: 8.8, 13.798 mil).
The telecast was the second-lowest rated, second-least viewed of Week 8, ahead of only Monday Night Football (HOU/IND: 7.4, 11.911 mil).
As reported earlier in the week, the network’s coverage of the NFL national window drew a 15.2 and 25.222 million viewers, down 13% and 15%, respectively, from last year.
FOX is averaging an 11.5 rating and 19.000 million viewers for NFL action through Week 8. Viewership is down 3% from last year, making FOX the only network to have a decline so far this season.
