ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews is leaving the network.
ESPN confirmed Andrews’ departure to Sports Media Watch Friday. Andrews served as a sideline reporter for ESPN college football coverage and hosted the 9 AM ET hour of ‘College Gameday.’
The announcement came shortly after Sports Illustrated reported that Fox Sports was “aggressively pursuing” Andrews.
Andrews’ contract with ESPN expires Saturday. She had been with ESPN for the past eight years.
