Though still below FOX levels, CBS earned its best numbers of the season for the NFL singleheader.
The Week 10 NFL singleheader window drew a 10.6 final rating and 17.4 million viewers on CBS last Sunday, down 13% in ratings and 14% in viewership from coverage on FOX last year (12.3, 20.1M) and the network’s top singleheader of the season (five telecasts).
Not only was the telecast down from last year’s FOX window, it also could not match any of the five singleheaders on FOX this season. The lowest rated and least-viewed FOX singleheader drew an 11.0 and 18.4 million.
The singleheader drew the same rating as NBC’s Sunday Night Football, marking the fourth time this season that it has matched or exceeded the primetime window. SNF drew a larger audience (18.1).
