Anthony to Have Charges Dropped Pending Community Service
- Prosecutors have agreed to drop a solicitation of prostitution charge against CBS and Turner Sports basketball analyst Greg Anthony if he completes 32 hours of community service, The Associated Press reported Tuesday. ESPN’s Petree Joins Fox Sports As Rules Analyst
- ESPN NASCAR analyst Andy Petree has joined Fox Sports in a similar capacity, it was announced Wednesday. Petree, a team owner and crew chief during his NASCAR career, will fill the new role of rules analyst on FOX — à la Mike Pereira. He will make his debut at Daytona this week. (Fox Sports)
ESPN Hires Veteran NASCAR Writer
- ESPN has hired Sporting News NASCAR writer Bob Pockrass to cover the sport for ESPN.com. Pockrass, who began writing for the site earlier this week, will contribute columns, analysis and other content. He has covered NASCAR since 1991. (ESPN Media Zone)
