FOX Moves Siragusa to New Team, Adds Millen
- Fox Sports NFL sideline analyst Tony Siragusa will join the broadcast team of Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis this season, ending his eight-year run with Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnson. He will be replaced on that team by traditional sideline reporter Laura Okmin. Another change to the NFL on FOX team is the return of former analyst Matt Millen, who will work alongside Sam Rosen on select games. (Fox Sports)
NBC’s Engblom Leaving For Lightning
- NBC Sports NHL “Inside the Glass” analyst Brian Engblom has joined Sun Sports as the color commentator for Tampa Bay Lightning games, it was announced Tuesday. Though it was not explicitly stated, all indications are that the new role will end his tenure with NBC. Engblom previously worked as a Kings analyst on Xtra Radio from 1991-95, and has more recently served as an analyst for Jets games on TSN. (foxsports.com)
NASCAR Broadcaster Baker Passes Away
- NASCAR Hall of Famer and former Sirius XM radio host Buddy Baker passed away Monday after a short battle with lung cancer. He was 74. Baker resigned from Sirius XM last month, telling listeners that his condition was terminal and preventing him from working to the best of his ability. Prior to joining Sirius XM, he worked as a TV analyst on TNN and CBS. (ESPN.com)
