NBA: 2015-16 Schedule Release (Wednesday, 6 PM ET, NBA TV and NBA.com)
- The 2015-16 NBA schedule will be released Wednesday at 6 PM ET on NBA TV and NBA.com, one day later than was originally planned. In addition to the games leaked last week — Cavaliers/Warriors and Pelicans/Heat on Christmas Day — additional reported matchups include Cavaliers/Bulls on October 27, Thunder/Spurs on October 29, Heat/Cavaliers on October 30, and Clippers/Lakers and Bulls/Thunder on Christmas. NFL: FOX NFL studio from the Emmys (September 20, 12 and 7:30 PM ET, FOX)
- Fox Sports’ NFL studio coverage will take place from the Emmy Awards red carpet on September 20, Fox Sports announced last week. FOX is airing this year’s Emmy Awards, and the network’s postgame show will lead directly into the telecast. As should surprise no one, this is the first time sports studio coverage will take place from the site of the Emmys. (Fox Sports)
CFB: Alabama/Louisville Orlando Kickoff Game (2018, ESPN)
- ESPN announced last week that Alabama will play Louisville in 2018 Orlando Kickoff Game, an annual opening weekend college football matchup that starts in 2016. Alabama/Louisville is the second announced game in the series, with Florida State/Mississippi scheduled for next year and no game yet selected for 2017. (ESPN Media Zone)
