Tessitore, Levy, Moving Up ESPN’s CFB Depth Chart
- According to The Big Lead, ESPN will promote Joe Tessitore and Steve Levy to second- and third-string, respectively, on its college football play-by-play roster. Tessitore called Thursday night games and anchored College Football Final last season, while Levy has worked games sporadically over the years. The pair would fill the vacancies left by Brad Nessler‘s widely rumored departure and Sean McDonough‘s move to Monday Night Football. (The Big Lead)

- Retiring Los Angeles Dodgers play-by-play voice Vin Scully is on the most recent cover of Sports Illustrated, his first such appearance. Scully is the second member of the media to grace the cover in three weeks, joining Turner Sports’ Craig Sager. Prior to this year, no media member had been on the cover since John Madden in 2002.
