The latest edition of UFC on FOX was a stronger draw in the Nielsens.
UFC on FOX 20 drew a 1.8 final rating and 3.0 million viewers on FOX Saturday night, up 6% in ratings and 8% in viewership from last July (1.7, 2.8M) and up 20% in both measures from July 2014 (1.5, 2.5M). Compared to the previous UFC on FOX telecast in April, ratings increased 29% and viewership 20% from a 1.4 and 2.5 million.
Saturday’s telecast, which featured Holly Holm‘s loss to Valentina Shevchenko, tied the highest rating for UFC on FOX in more than two years — since January of 2014 (1.9). It also earned the series’ largest audience since January of last year (3.0M).
To put the numbers in perspective, only one Premier Boxing Champions telecast has ever posted a larger audience — the inaugural window in March of last year (3.4M).
UFC on FOX scored a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49, matching last July and up a tick from the most recent window in April. It was the day’s top show in the demographic.
