Monday Night Football had another low rating in Week 9 of the season.
The Week 9 Bills/Seahawks Monday Night Football game had a 6.9 final rating and 11.3 million viewers on ESPN, down 5% in ratings and 2% in viewership from Bears/Chargers last year (7.3, 11.4M) and down 12% and 9%, respectively, from Giants/Colts in 2014 (7.8, 12.4M).
The Seahawks’ win delivered the smallest numbers for MNF in Week 9 of the season since Ravens/Steelers in 2007 (6.4, 9.9M). All ten Monday night games have hit multi-year lows in both measures.
Bills/Seahawks was the fifth straight and the seventh of 10 MNF telecasts to have less than a 7.0 rating, compared to four telecasts in the previous three seasons combined.
Figures do not include streaming or Spanish-language viewership. With those numbers included, it had 11.5 million viewers.
