NFL Singleheader Ratings Down in Week 9
Bedlam Game Big For FS1, Low For Rivalry
Compared to previous “Bedlam” games, this year’s matchup fell 55% in ratings and 48% in viewership from last year on the FOX broadcast network (3.1, 4.8M) and 50% and 48% respectively from 2015 on ABC (2.8, 4.8M). It was the lowest rated and least-watched game between the rivals since their last meeting on FS1 in 2014 (0.7, 1.1M).
On the FOX broadcast network, Penn State-Michigan State had a 1.9 and 3.1 million, Minnesota-Michigan scored a 1.7 and 2.9 million in primetime, and portions of Stanford-Washington State scored a 1.3 and 2.0 million.
NBC Posts Gain for Notre Dame
